商品描述

Here's a handsome tie he’ll wear with pride. The rich botanical motif on our 100% silk twill necktie was adapted from Marigold, an original wallpaper pattern in The Met collection.

A key figure in the Arts and Crafts movement, William Morris (British, 1834–1896) designed beautiful, handcrafted household objects that elevated decorative pieces to the realm of fine art. Today, he is best known for his densely patterned, nature-inspired wallpaper and textiles, which he created over a 30-year period. Hand block-printed in 1875 by Morris & Co., Marigold is among his most enduring wallpaper designs.
